We present various forms of contribution below. We hope that some of them become proper and adjusted to possibilities of people who want to participate in implementation of the mission of our association.

Who can help us and how?

1. VOLUNTEERS
Most of all we need volunteers who would like to:

• visit the prisons (in order to carry parcels for and meditate together with the convicts), 
• write letters, 
• deliver materials necessary for everyday work.

2. BUDDHIST SCHOOLS AND GROUPS

• Cooperation while organizing the practice in prisons – inspiration resulting from various Buddhist traditions.
• Contacts with Sangha. 
  Some convicts do not have families or their families do not keep in touch with them. Therefore the value of contact with a community practising Buddhism seems to be priceless, in our opinion.
• Gathering books and Buddhist accessories among the members of the community and handing them over to the guardians of the project.

3. PUBLISHING HOUSES AND INTERNET SHOPS

• Donating books for the benefit of the programme. As thanks for such a form of contribution we offer you free advertisement of the publishing house or an indicated book.

4. PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS

• Donating books (Buddhist books first of all) or Buddhist accessories for practices.
• Mail correspondence with the practising in penal institutions (we assure you of remaining anonymous).
• Material support (we need post stamps, phone cards, and also groceries and sanitary items occasionally).

5. DONORS
We accept financial support, each amount of money counts. The programme does not generate any profits and it functions thanks to our donors’ generosity only. We encourage you to make systematic payments, even if they are really small amounts of money. Hence we will be able to arrange the expenses.

We are a public benefit organization (National Court Register [KRS]: 0000332605). Everyone who is interested in obtaining information how the money given by them was used, will get such information.

The association „Przebudzeni” (The Awaken) accomplishes its mission by means
of various programmes. Each volunteer and donator can get acquainted
with them and participate in such a field of support
which corresponds best to him or her.
